What we are going to do on the podcast tonight, we got some emails to cover and then we are going to dive into some what we've been watching.

Before we move on into an in-depth review, this week we will be reviewing the Amazon Original Movie The Vast of Night, which is available right now on Prime Video.

Before we get to all that, something we've been doing at the top of every podcast is I've kind of been checking in with you guys.

Particularly in New York I know has been not only a flash point of the pandemic but obviously these anti police brutality protests that I'm going on.

How has your life been changing in the last week or two?

Well you know you could say it's not great because a lot of these protests are happening just a few streets from me.

It is a crazy time and honestly I wish I feel bad because I want to be out there and I fully support what people are protesting and it's amazing to see how much progress they've made.

Not just in New York but throughout the country, throughout the world, shining a light on police brutality especially against black people here in America.

I think that's all very important.

I can't go because I am very worried about the pandemic still happening and my wife is immunocompromised and I have a small baby.

So it's like I feel guilty and bad and all these things are happening.

New York will survive. New York goes through quite a few things and the sheer amount of video evidence of everything happening.

You know it's things people have talked about for a while.

You know the just crazy stories you'd hear about how they're treated by the police and now you're getting multiple angles.

You're getting you're getting all these all this footage of police basically responding to a police brutality protest with brutality which is I guess ironic in a way.

But telling and things are happening like Mayor Bill de Blasio said that for the first time they're going to be you know reducing funding for the NYPD.

The Minneapolis police department I believe is being disbanded and reworked in a different way.

So the ideas of policing and you know how we treat our communities are changing.
