And this is a podcast where we take hot topics, hot issues, and we discuss the talking points on those topics.

And we draw them out to their logical conclusion.

This is an exercise in critical thinking. It's an exercise in persuasion. And I think it's actually

an exercise in learning how to become more tolerant, if you ask me. Because as I always say on

the show, I believe that when you take the time

to really think about the things you believe and learn how to back them up when you know what you

believe and you feel confident in what you believe your political discussions become a lot

less tense they can still be passionate and and and dredge up feelings and emotion, but you don't

leave those conversations feeling like you've made an enemy. It's just that you're having an

interesting and even passionate conversation and then you all go on with your lives and you don't

judge each other as hashtag literally Hitler's because you've

had a disagreement. So I really do think that critical thinking plays a huge part in tolerance.
