We just learned of the brutal execution, and that's exactly what it was,

of a beautiful brilliant young brother named Amir Locke.

I spoke to his mother Karen yesterday, and she was on her way from Texas to Minneapolis to see about her son.

Late this past Wednesday, I got a direct message from a friend of mine who was a brilliant activist on the ground in Minneapolis.

I got a DM from him saying that a man had just been shot and killed by the Minneapolis police.

And within maybe about two hours, I got another direct message saying it was, of course, a black man.

Black men are disproportionately killed by the Minneapolis police and are disproportionately killed by all police in all states across America.

Black men are not given patience, time, critical thinking, investigations.

It's a fast moving enterprise in any encounter with black men, particularly violent encounters with black men.
