Summary

Was Robert E. Lee a traitor? Allen Guelzo thinks so. He also thinks that  the nation state prevented extensive warfare from the 17th century  forward. But Guelzo does understand that the real issue of the 19th  century was centralization. He just argues it was best for the United  States. I discuss these issues on this episode of The Brion McClanahan  Show.
