Yesterday, Brian Flores, former NFL head coach of the Miami Adolphins, did something about

as bold and courageous and hopefully impactful as anything I've ever seen in American sports

and that's a lot of sports.

We're a nation that really worship sports even more than we worship God and I don't say

that loosely.

Sports is King in America and he took a risk and I want to really unpack and explain

for you all how gutsy that risk truly was.

Just moments ago I watched multiple interviews that former NFL head coach Brian Flores had

on CBS and ESPN and one of the things that I learned literally just 90 seconds ago

was that yesterday while Brian Flores filed a lawsuit against the NFL and also specifically

against the New York Giants, Denver Broncos and the Miami Adolphins for racism and discrimination

and their hiring practices and other types of mistreatment.

Today while he filed that lawsuit, he also had a job interview with the New Orleans Saints.

I want to tell you why that is so profound to me.

It is one thing.

It would always be bold for an NFL coach or former NFL coach to file a lawsuit based on racism

and discrimination and bigotry.

It would always be bold for them to file their lawsuit.

It doesn't matter if they're 10 years after their retirement or if they never plan on

coaching again.

But Brian Flores, who was fired from the Miami Adolphins after two winning seasons back
