All right, guys. Welcome to the podcast. This podcast is one of the, I don't know, one of

the best podcasts I think I've ever recorded, at least in my opinion. And today I'm joined

by a really close buddy of mine, Sean Melend, and Sean is just an awesome dude, who is

probably one of the best elk hunters in the world. And I look up to Sean a lot. I've

learned so so much from Sean. I think a lot of people hate on Sean when I do podcast

with him because what he does seems unattainable. It seems unrealistic, right? But I promise

you one thing, the only difference between Sean and you is mindset. 100%. You can sit

there and say, well, that's not realistic or that's unattainable. That's not for me.

But I want you to ask yourself, why? Why is it unrealistic? Why not? Why not you? And

I think if you take anything from this podcast, let it be that we recorded this podcast

originally as a Wapiti Wednesday for the Patreons. We're going to do some Elk 301 stuff.

And that's Sean's forte. But the second half of this podcast cuts so good that I couldn't

not share it with the world. So even Sean, after the podcast was like, wow, that took

a direction I was not expecting. And I said, yeah, that might be the best podcast I've

ever done. It was just like this aha moment. It was such a punch in the face for me.

So I hope you guys like it. And I know a lot of you have kind of seen some of the stuff

that I've posted about my Elk 201 course, which is a four step system for being a more

successful hunter. And I attribute a lot of that knowledge to guys like Sean. I've learned

so, so much from Sean in the last few years. And the dude just gets it. And a lot of that

system comes from system like his. And that's how I developed this four step system.

It means him and the hundreds of other guests have had to, but you know, this is the type

of system that I'm talking about when I, when I teach the Elk hunt to a one course,
