Nicky Hambleton-Jones is a British personal stylist, television presenter, author, and fashion entrepreneur, best known for hosting Channel 4’s makeover series 10 Years Younger and more recently ‘Drop A Decade’ on This Morning. Originally trained as a dietician in South Africa, she moved to London in 1996 and soon transitioned into image consultancy. In 2001 she founded NHJ Style, one of the UK’s early personal styling consultancies, and later launched the NHJ Style Academy to train professional stylists. Through her books, media work, and events, she focuses on helping people build confidence through personal style.

Hello again and welcome to my time capsule. I'm Mike Fenton-Stevens and my time capsule is the podcast where people tell me five things of their life they wish they had in a time capsule, four things

personal stylist, Nikki Hamilton Jones. Nikki has been a leading personal stylist at the UK since 2001.

She's well known for the hit TV makeover show, 10 years younger,

and more recently she was on this morning with the Drop a Decade section. She's travelled the world

styling hundreds of men and women, trained and mentored many students through her Style Academy,

How are you? I'm good. Thank you. How are you? Are we saying Happy New Year? Are we allowed to do that? I think so. Why not? Why not? You're looking gorgeous as always. Thank you. Fantastic. And it was one thing that I read about you that I thought was rather interesting because my grandson has just been told he needs glasses. Oh, okay. Yeah, his reaction to it was, hmm, I'm not sure. But actually, all we've done is say, oh, wow, how fantastic, you lucky thing. Oh, wow, you look cool in those. You look great. Because I was thinking about you saying that you were sort of to begin with when you were given glasses as a young person. You thought, oh, no, this is going to make me, I don't know what. Nerdy. Well, it may be. You know, maybe that was the attitude then, but it's certainly part of your personality
