and not just for sex addicted relationships.

Hi guys, my husband and I are living in an addicted relationship he is addicted to everything

but mostly in the course of our relationship it has been drugs and alcohol he relapses and

feels badly and we try again to build strength in a relationship.

He's certainly addicted to porn, but with other addictions.

That is the least of my worries.

I would say, or I would like to say that although I never felt betrayed when he looked at porn I am definitely traumatized when he uses drugs and alcohol.

I have shared this podcast in the love over addiction group I'm a part of and know that several

of us have found comfort in Ashland. The feelings of betrayal when your spouse hides anything that

replaces the loving support that is supposed to be found inside of marriage

are indescribable.

I am wondering if you all feel that betrayal trauma

can be present in a spouse whose husband

is an alcoholic or drug addict, living and loving a spouse that is an addict

is a taboo subject and most people will just tell you to leave.
