It is my joy to sit down with a friend and one of the best men I have ever ever met.

David Barton. David is an interesting guy. He is the founder of Wallbuilders,

which is this great pro-family organization that teaches principles, preserves history,

teaches principles he speaks to over 400 groups every year. David himself has authored many books.

I remember when I was just starting to wake up in my 30s, one of them I read and I loved the book

and then forgot about it. One day I met David Barton and I'm like, hey, you're the guy there. We're a real one of my favorite books.

He has been involved in Supreme Court cases. He has very involved in national politics, local politics.

He is even a guy who has under a nom de plume helped write some of the history books in many states

to make sure that our standards in schools are right and that is so faltering now.

But David is on a mission to preserve our history and teach it.

He is described as America's historian, Time Magazine called him a hero to millions,

including some very powerful politicians. I have no idea what we're going to talk about.

I know he's brought some treasures in with him, but David Barton is always a fascinating interview.

I think if I could have any job, it would be the two of us in a van doing American pickers.

You are the guy who has taught me probably more about America than anybody else.

I've learned so much from you, David, and I also learned how to make a compelling argument from you.

I have learned what a good friend is. I've learned what a good Christian is because of you.
