Heat stress is a major component of plant health and it in growing more and more timely each year. Understanding how plants do or do not tolerate heat can teach us a lot about not only individual species, but communities and habitats as a whole. Joining us to talk about this is Dr. Brad Posch who is trying to understand the consequences of heat stress at the leaf level. He and his colleagues are tackling these questions in the Sonoran Desert where so many plants are living on a knife edge of survival.
