It's close. The Bears report. You started to apply your sunscreen yet? Layers have gone on.

I'm already fairly well burned from doing outdoor work so far this season.

JJ Stankovitz and Chris Bowden joining you here. We will be joined in our, in a few minutes here by

Josh Moser, who is the sports director of WLUK Fox 11 up in Green Bay to get some thoughts on what

Green Bay has done from the end of last season to this season as they also prepared to report to training camp.

But a couple of Bears topics here first. And maybe one thought I was thinking of kicking around here is everyone expects the Bears to finish last again this season while hoping for some improvement.

I think there's any doubt that the three

other teams in the division have more overall talent. Doesn't mean they, you know, might not finish

last, but I think everyone's kind of banking on that. The thing I was thinking about is, okay,

how do they not finish last? What has to happen this year? And I'm not

sure if a lot of people personally, I don't think there's any way they can finish ahead of Green Bay

or Minnesota. I'll say that in a bit. But Detroit seems the most likely possibility. But in my mind,

something has to happen in Detroit, and that's have that quarterback go down,

Matthew Stafford, because I wrote kind of a preview piece on what Detroit has done in conjunction with our visit with Jim Miller last week, and Matthew Stafford has turned himself into a stud.

But behind him are Brad Kaya and Jake Rudok.

That might be a little bit of trouble.
