Got another one on Wednesday. Some special guests. I don't want to tell you who they are yet, but they're special. And they've been having some special starts for the White Sox in the minor league system. I'll just say that. Okay, Dan Hayes, you got to guess?

I was going to guess Santa Claus, but you said they're pitching already for the White Sox, so I'm going to rule that out. That's going to come up tomorrow. But we want to get out something today because the big news is that

Ronaldo Lopez is going to be making his

White Sox debut getting called up. He'll start on Friday. Not a big surprise, but

it's funny that the person who actually broke the news and didn't mean to break the news

was Rick Hahn when he was in Boston, right?

Right. Actually, I've heard that the government's getting involved in looking for the leakers,

and he's targeted himself so he's

gonna deny it at all costs but yeah Rick Hahn was speak at the Sabre seminar on Saturday a charity event

he mentioned that a couple times because he then talked to us later that day because we heard he

talked about it somebody tweeted it it got out there I think it was south side socks tweeted it and so

we were like oh well we need to track this down. He was a little flustered that it was a charity event and it got out and but it's time and they know it and they've been trying to find some spaces for him. I know that if there had been a move at the deadline something would have happened if there had been a starter moved potentially he would have been here. But they know right now. I mean, Ronaldo Lopez has checked all the boxes. So it is time for him to get here. And Friday, it also did figure in. I think the matchups did play into it a little bit. They were at Boston. They're facing the Astros. I think they wanted something that was, not that

Kansas City is easy. Kansas City is a good team too, but I think they wanted something that

potentially gave him a better shot of success, and this is the shot there. Yeah, he also cautioned

Sox fans to not expect him to go, you know, seven shutout innings, and there's going to be growing pains

along the way. And if you look at him, I mean, he only, you know, pitched five innings in Charlotte, so he's not a finished product by any means. No, not at all, but he does have 44 in the majors independent race, pitched in some big games to the Washington Nationals last year. So he has to, he struck out 13 Braves in a game last year.

I keep going back to that one. That's good. Last year's Braves, I think I could have struck out two possibly, and that's saying, so you multiply it by Ronaldo Factor, that's 13. I could say it had a really impressive month and a half for him last year. He, like, showed what he is. He's a 40, his strikeouts, I think he had 42 in those 44 names.

I think he had 42 in those 44 games. His stuff plays. We know this. We've known it since March, and he needed to kind of get there and prove consistency. But you're right, there's still going to be a learning curve for him. We've seen it with Yohan Moncada. It just happens. Guys don't come up and always hit right away. So it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

And Mike Pelfry goes to the bullpen. I thought Mike Pelfrey was going to go to the bullpen. Oh, in May? He lasted this long. Nothing against Mike Pelfrey, but, I mean, he wasn't going long in games. I think that's the one thing that they're kind of looking for is the five or more
