Politics and fishing! Oh boy, this is going to be a fun one. I believe my mom and

my dad, he always told me don't ever talk about politics or religion, but we're doing

it here today and for a couple reasons. One, want to talk about politics and the influence

it has had and we'll be having probably for many, many, many decades and who knows even

the centuries to come on fishing and on water management or mismanagement here in Florida

as we are dealing with. And two, just how it is going to impact the next generation, which

if you know our mission, our big purpose here at Salt Strong is to get more kids, more

families out there, creating experiences, creating memories that matter with their loved ones.

And our really big underlying mission is to get every kid in America and eventually

the world to have the opportunity to fish, knowing that not all of them are going to take

it up like we have and be as passionate about fishing as we are, but I truly believe

the world would be a better place if every child in America had the opportunity to fish

at least once. And I'll explain why a little bit later, before getting all this politics

stuff and what this has to do with fishing now and into the future, I am Joe Simons, one of
