It's important for us to remember that the Bible was not written to us, but it was written

for us.

And the difference that is that when I understand, when I interpret or I observe the Bible,

and I think about the text or the chapter that I'm reading, for me to be able to understand

who wrote it, why it was written, who it was written to, what general themes was trying

to get across, I have to ask those questions because I'm reading a 2000 plus year old

letter that was written in a different context to a different group of people in a different

language.

And so it's not the same as me grabbing my phone and reading a text from easy because

I come to that knowing the context, knowing the environment, knowing the culture, knowing

who wrote it, and why it was written to me.

But we don't often know those presuppositionally when we're reading our Bibles.

Trivia, notice where the emphasis is, friends, I know a lot of you have a lot of questions

about us.

I do.

What an assumption.

Why?

The question is why, yeah, why in the world.

Maybe just how you are anchoring the show, that's the only question you have.

Miracles, yeah.

Miracles of miracles.
