Welcome to the next episode of What's Next with Eric Wood. This is Eric Wood and this will be a solo podcast today. I will be the only one speaking on here today. So if you want to hit the road, I'll see you

0:22.3

later. I'm not offended. I started this podcast on a journey to find out what was next in my life,

0:29.0

and I feel it's only appropriate if I give the listeners who have been loyal and have supported

0:34.3

this podcast an update on what I have going on personally. I started this

0:40.1

podcast with a quote in mind by Jackie Robinson. A life is not important except in the impact it has

0:48.0

on others' lives. And through this podcast, so many of the guests have impacted my life in huge ways. And I hope that

0:56.1

individually, all the listeners can take little bits of nuggets from each podcast. Through this

1:03.3

episode, I'm going to give some updates on me personally, especially career-wise, what to expect from

ACC Network side of things. I was signed on to ACC Network a couple years ago and this has been a

1:36.2

dream come true. It's awesome to cover the ACC Conference. It's on my side of the country. It's

1:41.4

fairly easy to get to the games. I get a lot of repeat teams.

1:45.6

It's a premier college sports conference, probably the best basketball conference in the

1:51.9

country. And if I'm honest, second best football conference in the country. So it's been a ton of fun

1:57.5

to cover those. Last year I hit the road with West Durham, Roddy Jones, myself, Chris Damiani, our producer,

2:06.1

Adam Bryant, our director, and we had a blast last year. And oftentimes, a broadcast team will

2:11.1

stick together through the whole season. I learned so much from all those guys. West Durham is an

2:16.5

absolute true pro as a play-by-play guy.

2:19.7

And Roddy Jones, who I had not known a whole lot about Prior, who has also been a guest
