And this is the podcast where we take hot topics, hot button issues, and we draw out the talking points on those issues all the way to their logical conclusion. Because I think that when

we take time to understand our arguments and, more importantly, to understand the other side's

arguments, other side and air quotes, whichever side that may be, that helps us nail down what we

believe even more. I do believe in finding the middle ground. I believe in

finding a place where we can all come to some kind of agreement, even if the agreement is just

live and let live. You know, we've got to be able to find that middle ground. I strongly believe in

it. I fight for it every day. But it's not just about

finding that middle ground. It's also about understanding what the other side is saying and being

able to be honest about what they're saying. Because sometimes just knowing how that other side

thinks, it helps you clarify your positions. It helps you

understand your arguments better. Sometimes it'll change your mind even. Oh my gosh.

What? You could even change your mind if you were open to the other side's arguments,

at least open to hearing them. So that's what we try to do here on the show. I'm recording today,
