Kickoff is here. I can't stress

enough how important these final 24 to 48 hours of your lives are. There are things that you need

to get in order. There are people you need to tell I love you. There are folks you need to get some

FaceTime with because it's going to be January. If you're like most of us, it's going to be like

January until your head really pops up.

Maybe a token appearance for Thanksgiving, perhaps a card in the mail for Christmas, but it's go time.

It is go time.

We hit a high of 102 downtown today.

Dry heat, though.

Dry heat, believe it or not, even in the southeast this time of year. I have big concerns for some of your teams. We don't play this

week, paid states off this week, but I have upset concerns. Memo used to always say, you know,

an upset tummy comes and goes, but an upset and football game can last a lifetime.

And I think some folks are on thin ice with hot blades, even some double-digit

favorites this weekend. And I am going to share my opinion. I'm going to sprinkle in the

model's opinion. We've got to be careful. It's a treacherous, treacherous road navigating through
