Summary
Sometimes our adventure is about so much more than our desire to fulfill our dreams. For Tom Knox's parents, driving the length of the US west coast was always something they wanted to do. However, due to cancer and Alzheimer's, that dream remained unfulfilled when they died. In an effort to carry on the adventurous spirit of his parents, Tom decided he would bike the route in remembrance of them and in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's. Tom is a normal guy, taking precious PTO in order to make this adventure happen. We caught up with him a few weeks before he left.
