Hello and welcome to the Salt Strong Podcast! My name is Rich Natoli, I'm the host of the show for this episode.

And I'm joined by Pat Ogletree, Salt Strong Coach, and Luke Simons. Everybody knows Luke. Guys, how you doing today?

Doing awesome, just dealing with the rain right now.

Alright, and in this one, we are going to talk about a topic that is relevant to everybody.

And it's relevant to everybody because when we're recording this, this is the very end of July.

And we are experiencing all throughout the, really throughout the entire country right now, heat and hot water.

And we're going to talk today about what you need to do in order to adjust your tactics or adjust your approach,

to continue to get on the fish even when the water temperatures are rising.

And what's funny is, as we're recording this, Pat is in the middle of a thunderstorm. Pat, where are you right now?

Right now, I'm in Central Florida, I'm on the east side. I'm a little town outside of Orlando.

I've been fishing this area for a little while, and now I can assure you, it is hot outside for sure.

Yeah, and I'm in the mid-Atlantic, so right now as we're recording this, I'm in Pennsylvania.

I have a thunderstorm that just went through.

It didn't really cool it off. It's still about 90-something, so nothing like you have down there.

Luke, I think you're on the west coast of Florida right now.

I don't know if you're getting rain or not, but...

Now it's been hot and sunny, but the bike's been good.

So it's been, it's actually been a really good summer in spite of some super high condition.
