the parking lot of what looks like an abandoned strip mall.

They parked outside of a brown brick building and waited until the final vehicle had arrived.

When the team leader gave the go ahead, the agents leapt out of their cars and headed inside flashing their badges.

Most of the agents immediately fanned out as the team leaders strode right up to the receptionist

and delivered a search warrant.

These agents were on the hunt for a killer and they expected to find evidence here

at this industrial laboratory in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. As the receptionist began

frantically calling the executives who ran this facility,

the lead investigator looked around and he saw the dingy linoleum on the floor

and the yellowed ceiling panels overhead and the visible layer of dust on a nearby desk.

He had been in plenty of laboratories over the years,

and typically they were all kept in immaculate condition,

but this place was not.
