Sub nerds, before I continue my first ever journey through the Harry Potter series, just a few

quick announcements. First, it is the first episode of Paderlis in November,

And at the time of recording, we have 542 patrons, meaning we are donating $542 to a charity. And this month's charity is Rain. That's the Rape, Abuse and Incess National Network.

I figured this was fitting, seeing that we just appointed someone to the Supreme Court that definitely seemed guilty of sexual assault. Rain does a lot of great things. They created and operate the National Sexual Assault Hotline. They carry up programs to prevent sexual violence. They help survivors, and they ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. So I'm glad that we can support this charity. And no matter where you fall on the political spectrum, I think it's a good mission to make sure that sexual assault, rape, abuse, all sorts of those things can be prevented. Because it's just awful. And thank you to everyone who suggested this charity to me. I got the suggestion from a bunch of different people. So I really appreciate it. Also, final announcement that this weekend, I will be in Vancouver, BC, for the Vancouver Podfest. I'm very excited on Saturday, November 10th from 11 to 2. I'll be at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch doing a whole Harry Potter discussion. I'm very excited for it. It's free. So come through. I'll be hanging out with people at that location before and after the event. And then I'm also going to do a meetup on Sunday for anyone that's unable to attend.
