0:36.6	No, honestly, when you say AML and KYC,
0:40.7	I think there's actually probably some listeners out there who don't even know what those terms mean.
0:44.9	They might have heard it, but they don't know like what it really, all the context. And it's
0:50.4	really important. And there's a lot of debates happening around KYC and AML right now in American Congress and pretty much every parliament there is.
1:00.7	People want to know how to regulate crypto.
1:02.5	So let's just start there.
1:03.5	Before we dive into your background, what is KYC, what is AML and why is it a big topic of discussion in crypto?
1:15.7	Sure. I mean, that's very important that we clarify what these things are. We use these acronyms, K.C and AML every day frivolously because we work in the industry or anybody
1:21.6	who's listening who works in traditional finance or has really had any day-to-day experience
1:27.0	with banking, is familiar
1:28.5	with them. But for those of you who don't know what it is, KYC is an acronym, it stands for
1:33.3	Know Your Customer, and AML is anti-money laundering. So, really, these are two techniques
