0:15.6	So today we are going to talk COVID. We're going to talk about a couple of the latest
0:20.6	news stories as it pertains to COVID and it'll be a big episode. We're going to look at
0:25.6	the data and all of that. But before we start on that, I do want to talk about this abortion
0:31.3	case that is being argued before the Supreme Court today. That is Dobbs versus Jackson
0:38.9	Women's Health Center. And this is about Mississippi abortion law that would restrict abortion.
0:46.2	It actually went into place three years ago that would restrict abortion after 15 weeks
0:52.2	with limited exceptions. There are exceptions for our medical emergencies, but there are
0:58.2	no exceptions for rape and incest. And this case is monumental because if this Mississippi
1:06.5	law is upheld, then it essentially overturned Roe v. Wade. Now if Roe v. Wade is overturned,
1:15.0	that's the case that of course legalized abortion in the 1970s and under which tens of
1:19.5	millions of babies have been murdered in the last several decades. If that is overturned,
1:25.2	that does not ban abortion outright. Abortion doesn't suddenly become illegal, unfortunately.
1:31.6	What that means is that the states will be able to decide how much they want to restrict
1:36.3	abortion. Right now it's very difficult, if not impossible altogether to very strictly
1:43.1	restrict abortion in a state, but the overturning of Roe v. Wade would allow a state whose voters
1:52.1	want abortion to be banned in their state to be able to then ban abortion. And so this
1:59.3	is a big deal. This could possibly get us one step closer to making abortion illegal
2:09.5	in many states. You will always probably still be able to get an abortion in liberal states,
2:16.1	but it will become even harder to do in Republican states where the majority of voters don't
2:22.1	want abortion to be legal. So this is a very historic day, no matter what the outcome is,
2:29.0	we won't know the outcome for a while. But Christians should be praying. We should be
