Lackey were here, too, sitting with us, because I wonder what they would have said to each other

after that classic

hawk rant directed at mr. lackey do you think that was what the ambulance was for earlier

i mean i mean hawk maybe was waiting for him in the parking lot i don't know i heard that ambulance

when we were getting ready and who knows it was pretty fired up though all right coming up we're

going to have that entire rant that uh hawk the venom that was unleashed on John Lackey.

That is ahead.

And literally while we are sitting here, we found out about the news.

Anthony Swarzak traded to the Brewers.

What do the White Sox get in return?

17th ranked prospect in the brewer's system.

Outfielder Ryan Cordell, 25-year-old at AAA.

Colorado Springs had an 855 OPS. Seeing a little bit, sounds like he was kind of a depth guy for the brewers,

which makes sense. They're not cracking the outfield with that kind of depth that they have themselves.

So White Sox, it doesn't surprise me. I mean, yesterday, having

talked to a few scouts about Anthony Swarzak, who had a great couple lead-up days to this trade,

basically he, you know, was going to fetch them something as far as a good prospect, but not a top

150 prospect. So it doesn't surprise me, this is where they go. So something tells me that after Swarzac had that four-out save against the Cubs on Monday, Rick Hahn called up the Brewers and said, you know, you probably need an arm, a bullpen arm, maybe to beat the Cubs to win the division. And here's some visual proof. How about Anthony Swarzac? And think about this. You know, one of the things the scouts pointed out was there's probably 20 guys out there. And so the White Sox have done this on this market twice now, where they've struck early. They did it with Tommy Canley and David Robertson, knowing possibly Zach Britton was going to be out there. And that's one thing people have talked about on the market is what the Orioles are going to do is really kind of making people go back and forth because one day the Orioles want to do something the next day they don't and if they do flood the market with three relievers everybody else that's holding relievers is going to be a little bit in trouble i mean Zach Britton who else wants it there's maybe some health stuff there but who doesn't want that guy i mean he's the top out there. So Swarzac is sort of that mid-level piece that was out there, a rental, not going to be there for more than two months. He's a free agent. He's having a great year. Sell High, sell now.
