All right, welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the We're Having a Good Time podcast.

My name's Dusty Slay. I'm your host, and I'm here with my wife, co-host, mother of my children, Hannah Hogan.

Good to be in studio.

And I say mother of my children, and this time I mean it, because we do have two kids.

In fact, my sister is here right now, and she is outside playing with our sweet baby Daisy.

And in studio with us today is our new precious son, Sam.

You're probably going to hear him.

We have named him Sam.

There was a lot of deliberation about names.

We've talked about it on the podcast. There was Duke,

which we loved. There was Hank, which we loved. And then there was many others, but there was also Sam.

And when Sam was born, we had no name for him.

And we, Hannah was holding him, and I was listing off the names.

And she said, Samuel feels like the name.

And it does feel like the name.

He is a sweet, I mean, it could turn at any moment, but he is a sweet,

mild baby boy. And in the Bible, Hannah gives birth to Samuel. So, you know, when I was reading,

what is it, First Samuel, I guess, is the book in in the bible i was reading it to read about jesse because

i really liked the name jesse so i was reading it and that's when it hit me now hannah already

knew this but it hit me that hannah in the bible gives birth to samuel and i just think that's so great. I like a biblical name.

I like a cool, fun name. And we think Sam Slay is a fun name. Sam Slay is a great name.

A couple of people in text messages to me have called him Sammy Slay, and I think that also has a nice ring.
