I should probably start the show by letting everyone know that my mom did, in fact, pass away on Sunday.

guy. What I can say is whatever I have in me that is on fire about injustice in the world,

and whatever skills I might have as a teacher or a communicator, I got from her. Long before, nevertheless, she

persisted became a meme. That was my mom. She once told me when she was a little girl,

when Roosevelt died, she had no idea who the president was going to be because Roosevelt had always

been the president. She lived a life as an adventure, and she died with grace and dignity, and I loved her very

much, and I miss her like crazy.
