Hey, everybody. I hope you're all doing really well.

I should probably start the show by letting everyone know that my mom did, in fact, pass away on Sunday.

And one of these days, we'll all get together, and I'll buy you all a beer,

and I'll tell you all about her, and you will be amazed, and you'll go, of course, you're that

guy. What I can say is whatever I have in me that is on fire about injustice in the world,

and whatever skills I might have as a teacher or a communicator, I got from her. Long before, nevertheless, she

persisted became a meme. That was my mom. She once told me when she was a little girl,

when Roosevelt died, she had no idea who the president was going to be because Roosevelt had always

been the president. She lived a life as an adventure, and she died with grace and dignity, and I loved her very

much, and I miss her like crazy.

And that's all I'll say for now.

Yeah.

We'll miss her.

She was always so, so good to me and to the kids.

And she was just Grandma Shirley.
