We used to cover the Mac back of the day. He covered Bill Cuban at Western Michigan. I was covering Northern Illinois. That's what our relationship started. And he's been my go-to guy at Michigan State for a long time. I feel like he's got as good of a pulse as anybody on the Spartans program. So he chats about what is going on at Michigan State, the fallout of everything there.

And he gives some great insight and context into that program and what he took over and why

the 10-year contract, you know, from the outside

doesn't look so good in year two here. I tweeted out the other day, Mel Tucker and Brett

Bielma have the same Big Ten record the last two years. But Graham gives some good insight.

And I think Michigan's Day obviously has some concerns, but they had some concerns when

Mel Tucker got there.

And last year set a high expectation for the program. We'll see if Mel Tucker can get back to that.

But Michigan State is a talented team. They have some good pieces on offense. Their defense has

been more competitive the last couple weeks. So we'll get some more inside of that. And Graham was great on Tom iso. I asked him a Tom iso question near the end. So look forward to hearing from him. Before we get to that, the college football playoff rankings will be announced. I'm recording this on Tuesday. I would expect Illinois to be in the top 20, maybe the top 15. We know what they got to do to get there. They're going to run the table, right? They want to get to college football playoff,

which is we're having that conversation because we have to, right, at this point.

Illinois is 7 and 1, and if they win out, if they win and they add to a six-game winning streak
