Hello everyone and welcome to the Slash Filmcast. I'm David Chen and with me today are

0:26.0

David and Dr. Hardwa and Jeff Canada. Welcome to the Slash Filmcast. David, or welcome back from Computex.

0:32.0

Thank you. That's where you were last week. Great. Where is Computex?

0:36.0

Computex is in Taipei, Taiwan. My old zombie grounds. Yeah, your old zombie grounds, which you've never been to. I've been there like five times now.

0:44.0

It's great. I love it. Love the city. Love the show. I was also there in like a Godzilla-esque moment because they have this annual air raid test.

0:54.0

Basically preparing for an invasion from China. Today is for you and you get off the plane. Yeah, that's going to happen.

1:02.0

You get an alert. Basically, it's like you cannot go outside for this half an hour. And of course, that happens on the first day of Computex.

1:08.0

So I range my schedule around that and all these sirens go off. And meanwhile, like torrential rains are happening too.

1:16.0

So I put it up on a tweet. I was just having lunch like in this quiet cafe surrounded by sirens and torrential rain.

It felt very much like a Godzilla movie. Yeah, I did see Godzilla there too. So that was fun.

1:28.0

Well, we're glad you got back safely. Jeff Canada, you also had your encounter with Aaron's liquids today to get to the Slash Filmcast.

1:36.0

1:44.0

Thanks. Yeah, I was a. I assume he involves a child.

1:50.0

Yeah, I was just relating this story to Dave before we went on the air. I had quite the day.

1:58.0

My wife has has left on a work trip for four days to Chicago. So I'm so low-dating hard. And by heart, I mean very difficult.

2:08.0

And so of course, the night before my wife leaves, my daughter, my one year old daughter starts running at temperature.

2:16.0

And this morning she was still running at temperature. And but I had to go to work. So I left and my mother-in-law who is here, maybe sitting during the day,

2:27.0

said that my daughter has had UTI as I had a UTI before, which is not super uncommon with infants, but really terrible. It makes them very sick.

2:38.0

So she had some symptoms again. And so I left work early, came home, took Zoe to the doctor and to test for UTI, they have to get a urine sample, which is not easy with an infant because you don't know one that's going to urinate.

2:54.0

And the audience is already like, where is the, why is he telling this story? Why am I listening to this show? But here you go. Welcome first time listeners.

3:04.0

Anyway, so they might have to run a catheter into a one year old, not great. So we were hoping to avoid that. And the doctor said, well, I can put a baggy around the area.

3:18.0

Yeah, it's cool. Yeah. And we can wait for her to go. And hopefully I'll do some tests, check her out, looking at ears and all the stuff you do. And maybe while that's happening, she'll go.
