Welcome, everybody. It is Wednesday, December 4th, 2013, and I am all alone on the program

today. There is no guest. I'm just going to be talking to you the whole program. I hope you

can bear that, but I thought I may as well do a program on the general subject of secession, given that it's a subject that is of interest to a lot of the

listeners, but also in particular, because last month I spoke at a law school on this subject.

I spoke at St. Louis University School of Law, and I did not foist this topic on them. When the invitation came in,

this was what they wanted me to come talk about, which is a bit surprising. It runs completely

counter to what they're taught in law school, so naturally I took up the subject with relish.
