1:12.8	Sure thing. So I got my PhD in actually mathematics in the 1980s, but I've been interested in
1:20.3	AI since well before that, really since discovering it in science fiction stories and that TV shows in the early
1:29.4	1970s when I when I was a kid but I've been doing AI research actively since I was a grad
1:36.6	student in the 80s and indeed the AI field has come a long way since then right so I mean when
1:43.8	I started in the field,
1:46.0	there was some AI in industry, mostly in military,
1:49.0	a little bit in Wall Street, but not so much.
1:52.0	I was an academic for 10 years in math, computer science,
1:56.0	and then cognitive science, the study of human cognition.
2:00.0	And from the late 90s onward,
2:03.1	I've been developing AI applications for industry,
