The mainstream media has been on decline for so long now.

How are we supposed to know when they've hit rock bottom?

Well, today could be a good indicator as the New York Times has turned to quest love

in a new marketing effort.

Yes, the New York Times will be turning to the drummer for Jimmy Fallon's house band

to try and resuscitate their image as anything other than a withering relic of the past.

Honestly, I respect the move because I would much rather listen to the roots than any

lefty brainwashing from the Times.

Now with this in mind, I decided to do my good deed for the day and recommend some

other celebrity mascots for struggling mainstream news outfits.

And PR, you guys get Bill Cosby, I mean America's dad.

Plus, he knows all about putting people to sleep, much like your coverage.

Perfect fit.

Then we get MSNBC.

You have Brian Stelter because he's currently available as hell.

And obviously wanted to be Rachel Maddo's sidekick anyway.

So, you know, why not?

Uh, Stelter, now we have to replace him at CNN when we go with an old bag of potatoes.

I look, there's a lot of value in an old bag of potatoes and it's much better than anybody

at CNN headed on the air right now.

And for obvious reasons, finally we get the, the Washington Post, which has scandal on

all sides.
