We're coming to you on a Monday. I tried to get it done last night, but I think we just were a little too beat from Dory's weekend of glory.

And her weekend of glory and her weekend of triumph on Saturday, followed by the agony of defeat on Sunday.

That's accurate, yes.

Yes, I'm not sure if anyone's aware, but Dory Shafrier has recently discovered her love of racquet sports, particularly tennis.

Badminton, not so high on her list, pickleball. She almost tolerates it.

Dory, as you may know, also is on a tennis team here in Southern California.

Not only is she on a team, but she's also the manager of a team.

Perhaps two. I'm still not clear the manager of a team. Perhaps two.

I'm still not clear on that.

I'm captain of two teams, and I played on one of them.

I was going to play on the other one, but like it quickly became clear that we were going

to be in contention for like actually winning the league, and I was like, I'm not going to play it's a good captain

right there you know thank you you know just go down with the ship yeah sacrificed myself

that's right uh but anyway as I was saying before i was so rudely interrupted by dory schreier

uh dory shafir is on two different tennis teams and uh both uh somehow backdoored their way

into appearing at Southern California

sectionals for the United States Tennis Association.
