I know there are a million different things that you can do with your time and a million different pods or shows that you can consume. So I mean this without sincerity. We all know this, but just knowing it does not mean you'll be ready for it when it happens or that you'll embrace it when it happens.

In fact, far too often, we're not prepared.

Life punches us in the face and the next thing you know, the ref is wiping off our gloves,

has almost counted to 10 and is looking into our glassy eyes and asking if we want to continue.

And we're not giving the ref the answer that he or she wants.
