Alright folks, welcome to the Gritty Podcast. I am your host Brian Call and I am joined by my

brother the Gritty Bromine. How are you Brent? Well, thank you. Today's podcast is with a very dear

friend of mine kind of like a secondary father figure for me and someone who had a profound influence

throughout my life and still does. This person said to me once years ago, you know, you find yourself

longer in the tooth, get a little older and you look back and you see if you look back carefully,

all these turns and changes throughout your life. Things that came your way that rerouted you

into a different direction. And if you look carefully, you'll see the hand of Providence

and all that you've done and where you are today. And I think that's very true. And so this man's

name is Arnie Chop and he has been a mentor to me my whole married life essentially.

And we go deep on this podcast about life and meaning I just interview Arnie based on

things that I've gleaned from him that have kind of set me on a path, a different path in life

than maybe where I was headed before or just brought things to light that I didn't know.

I consider Arnie a wise human being that can add value to everyone and he's really good one on one

with young people, especially men and he's really mentored a lot along the way. We talk about a lot

of different things on this podcast that I think are meaningful and that's really the best

conversations to have. And we talk a lot about meaning itself and what does meaning mean.

And for those of you getting ready to turn the dial because you don't want to talk about meaning,

I think that the world is starving for that kind of conversation today. And it's not happening
