haven't beat since 2008 so j will join us on the pod today had a bunch of people tweeting at me

this afternoon Monday afternoon and going into Monday evening uh when's the j-Pod coming? When's the J-Pod coming?

It's coming.

I got a little busy with work and then with the family stuff.

But I also wanted to record this open of the podcast today before we get to Jay because two big

things other than Illinois beating Wisconsin came up over the weekend that could have an

impact on Illinois.

That's two power five jobs opening.

One, kind of directly impacting Illinois because they impacted it.

And that's Paul Chris getting fired at Wisconsin, which I was shocked about.

Maybe it's because when Jim Polson came on the pod last week, it was kind of the first time I heard, I thought that Paul Christ was on the hot seat. And you heard me, if you listen to that

interview, kind of saying like, oh, I didn't know the seat was warm then, but it was. And

didn't know it was that warm. I don't even know Jim thought it was that hot because he had

talked to Chris McIntosh,

I believe last week about this very topic. And Wisconsin gets run by Illinois, and that's it.

A two-time Big Ten coach of the year, a guy who had a 720 win percentage had won all but one

bowl game that I believe he had been to at Wisconsin.

But we know in this business, this is the biggest thing I took from Paul Chris getting fired,

this business is changing.
