Welcome to episode 5004. I just couldn't be happier having Brad Berzer as our guest.

I don't talk to Brad often enough, and he's such a

great guy. I just, I got to dive right into our conversation here, but if you haven't heard me

talk to Brad before, let me give you a little bit of background. Brad has a brand new book

coming out, November 5, 2015. Russell Kirk, American Conservative, will talk to him about that

when the time comes.

Brad is a professor of history at Hillsdale College, where he's served on the faculty since 1999.

In 2002 and three, he was voted Professor of the Year by students at Hillsdale College. He's also the co-founder

of The Imaginative Conservative at the imaginativeconservative.org, as well as praguearchy.com,

which is a progressive rock website. This is another shared love that Brad and I have. He's the author of several books,

one of which that might be of particular interest to this audience, is J.R.R. Tolkien's

sanctifying myth, understanding Middle Earth. Wonderful guy, so thrilled to be able to talk to him.
