Summary

Kennebunkport is a Maine town that goes back hundreds of years. This coastal resort town plays host to several haunted inns. The Kennebunkport Captains Collection in Maine are four historic homes that had belonged to the Captain Daniel Walker family. Two of them are reputedly haunted. There is also the Nonantum Resort, which is the oldest inn in town. And the Kennebunk Inn hosts a well known spirit in the town. Join us for the history and hauntings of Maine's Kennebunkport. 0:56.5	And this is Kelly. Kelly, on this episode, we're going way north to Maine. Bring
1:02.1	your parka. I mean, at least at this time of the year is probably very pleasant as
1:06.9	compared to how hot we've been down here in the south. But we're going to be
1:09.8	checking out a lot of haunted ends in the city of Kenna Bunkport. Excellent.
1:14.1	Before we get into that, we want to welcome into the spooktacular crew Phil, Rachel,
1:18.2	Michaela, Simone, Liana, and Joanna. Thank you so much for joining the spooktacular crew.
1:23.9	And now this moment, Naughtity.
1:26.6	Diane and I love the ocean, along with the creatures who live there. Here in Florida,
1:40.5	there's been an underwater music festival held for nearly 40 years. The festival takes
1:46.5	place yearly in the lower keys near Big Pine Key. And this year, it attracted hundreds
1:51.5	of divers and snorkelers. The purpose of the festival is to bring awareness to the
1:56.2	protection of 3,800 square miles of ocean, which includes the only living coral reef
2:02.2	in the continental United States. The location of the music festival is part of the Florida
2:07.6	Keyes National Marine Sanctuary, and spotlights the importance of reef conservation to the attendees.
2:14.4	The underwater ecosystem here is magnificent, and of course, the ultimate message of all
2:19.0	the musical harmonies enjoyed is how to appreciate, protect, and reduce underwater footprints.
