Hey, I feel sometimes we should just change the name of this show to both sides don't.

Because it is, you know, and it, it does my heart a world of good to see how many people have taken up that very simple battle cry over the years.

But it really is just as I reposted something from 10 years ago or 9 years ago, it is strontium 90 in the milk.

It's everywhere. It's everywhere.

It's so creepily predictable that we don't even have to do it anymore.

No.

You just know that when some shit hits the fan, whoever is talking, if they're on the right or if they're trying to suck up to David Brooks, they're going to say, you know, this isn't about left and right.

Yeah, it is.

It really fucking is. It really is. And you'll hear some variation of it's both sides. It's everyone.

It's society is to blame. Everyone's to blame. It's such a common refrain now that breaking it will be

spectacular. But it's it that's the work of a generation.

That really is.

But there do seem to be two modes of kind of the never-trumper mode of both sides, though.

There's one mode that says, you're going to need us reasonable Republicans in 2020. So you better just, you know, line up and do what we say.

All 40 of them. Yeah. Yeah. And that's what, you know, Mona Sharon said this week, right? And we're going to get into that because you wrote a whole post about her article, her op-ed, where she said, you're going to need us.

And then the other way that the Republican rebranding project is being seated right now

is to just completely ignore politics and pretend that this is about problem solvers and, you know, democracy, really.
