I want to lead with the mistakes.

Yes, I know.

I want to get that right out in the open.

Last week, I talked about Duncan, Duncan Donuts, although they're not

called Duncan Donuts anymore, they're just Duncan, was going to sell for over $9 billion and I was wrong. I apologize. It ended up

being a total of 11.3 billion dollars.

Now the deal went for under 9 billion.

It was 8.8 billion, but then when you take in all the debt it ends up being a total of 11.3 billion.

Just incredible.

So the Inspire brands backed by the private equity firm, Rourke Capital, has Arby's, Buffalo Wild Wings,

Sonic, Jimmy Johns, and now Duncan and Baskin Robbins under their umbrella for $11.3 billion.

I mean, Duncan has, over 12,000 storefronts and Baskin Robbins has 8,000 or so store fronts

so this is a good deal for Inspire no no question although you know

awful lot of awful lot of money and I was incredible when I was reading about it. In 2005 they sold for $2.4 billion.

Then they went public in 2011 and in 2020 it's over 11 billion dollars.

Man, I wish I had a piece of that donut.
