addition to the program I love doing these interviews and I love every Monday

when they pop up because more and more people seem like they're tuning in which of

course is the name of the game just from a business standpoint but also getting comfortable with

podcasting which I know a lot of people have been doing for a long time but now with

kind of a local specific podcast I think more people are doing it and I love seeing the numbers grow and I love

getting your emails as you listen into both the interviews and also our questions

from the audience segment plus Jim Hayes's show the cat chat with new interviews from Cardinals or

baseball people every Wednesday. So this week if you're sitting there going

okay it's local then why is Marcus Allen local?

Well, that was essentially my first question to him.

Marcus Allen has been living in the St. Louis area

for, I think about two years. It might be a little less than that and you know you couldn't you

couldn't really get more random than a guy who grew up in San Diego played college football at

SC, played in the NFL for the vast majority of his career in LA when the

Raiders were in LA, had his time with the Kansas City Chiefs,

and then you would think, okay, he's done, he's in the Hall of Fame, he will now go to pick your, you know, high median income zip code in Southern California,

maybe Palm Beach, I don't know, maybe a place in Manhattan you know during the summer.

Whatever either way as much as I love my hometown as much as I love my hometown and I want to say it one more time as much as I love my hometown. If I grow up in San Diego, if I play college football at
