Most of us know the importance of money, whether you make a lot or a little or a medium

amount, having a good perspective financially is key to being monetarily secure as you

get older.

Some people, however, don't seem to have that same perspective, and it's always stomach

turning to hear the stories of someone blowing a huge chunk of money that most of us would

walk over broken glass for.

According to the New York Post, Ryan Glass Beagle, an author of a new book about to drop

of a famous golfer by Alan Shipnick, one of those people is Phil Mickelson.

According to Shipnick, he allegedly gambled away $40 million from 2010 to 2014.

You don't have to be Stephen Hawking to figure out that's $10 million a year.

I know gambling addiction is a real thing and a serious problem for some people, but those

numbers are astronomical and unacceptable if this is true.
