My name's Dusty Slee. I'm your host. I'm at a hotel with a new setup every time. I got a new setup every time I'm doing something. There's different tables and chairs and whatnot and the lighting is always bad. And so, i know that lighting doesn't matter uh because i never post the video of the podcast but i do record video every time and uh i like doing it one day

i'm going to post the video somewhere. This time the microphone is very far from

my face. I don't know how to make it closer, but I think it's going to be all right. I feel very

good. I'm in a town right now called Cape Girardo. I don't know if you've heard of it. It's my first time in

Cape Girardo. I'm sorry I'm messing with the mic. It's my first time in Cape Girardo. It's in

Missouri and I'm at a club called Laughing Gas Comedy Club. I think Cape Girardo is an interesting town.

It's an old city.

It seems, it's right next to the Mississippi River.

I walked down to the Mississippi River yesterday.

There doesn't seem to be a lot going on, but it doesn't seem like an abandoned town my hotel is

very nice it feels historical it's a courtyard marriott but the inside feels like it used to be

something else and now they've renovated it and it's very nice.

Sometimes the city feels abandoned.

Like I was saying I'm working with a comic name Will O'Donnell out of St. Louis and I was saying to him yesterday that the town almost feels like what you would think the country would look like after the way they've talked about the pandemic.

Like it feels like all the businesses are here ready to go.

The buildings are nice.

The businesses are open.

They're like, let's do it.

But there just doesn't seem to be a lot of people.

It's like, I don't know where they're at. But then all of a sudden, people will just be

everywhere. I can't get a real handle on the city. Today I walked by this old kind of antique store.
