Um, uh, whatever snowy coming in. Oh my god. Remember snowy. He used to be a regular caller to the OP and Anthony show. I wonder whatever happened to snowy. Uh, you got the hacks. You got EV. What's up, EV? How are you? You got, uh, Rob. Enjoy the day. I enjoyed my day.

Although, uh, we're very, very tired. We had. Yeah, man. We took a few days. We went to the ocean. Um, it was really nice and glorious out there. The dog got to run around on the beach. We got to chill out. Uh, rented movies, ate pizza, made some steaks. And literally later on in our pajamas for like three straight days. I absolutely loved that with, uh, with my, uh, with my family.

And then it was time to pack, uh, the whole operation and into the car and bring it back to New York City. And, uh, as we're doing that, some storm came in because like I've, I've said in the past, I don't pay attention to, to the weather. I don't have a weather app.

I don't watch the local news for their stupid weather. So every day, uh, I'm very, very surprised by what, what type of weather we get. It's kind of exciting. I'm not going to lie to you. So I shouldn't check the weather before we started.

Um, our trek back to New York City, pack the car, how to pack the guinea pig. I don't know how many of you have guinea pigs for your kids, but we're taking the guinea pig with us.

That's how crazy it's gotten. And of course, it has to have a big cage. So takes up half the back of the car. And then you got to make sure it's protected. So doggie doesn't decide to have a snack on the way back to New York City. Although doggie has shown, uh, no interest in, uh, said guinea pig.

So the rain's coming down sideways. The wind is ridiculous. You know, the deal, you know, packing a car in those conditions. So, but, uh, you know, got it done. Got everybody in the car.

Um, my daughter is sick. I think she has strep throat. We, we checked her for the COVID. She doesn't have the COVID and, um, but she's really sick. So that wasn't fun either.

And then, uh, and then we're driving out of our little tiny little town on this, on this, uh, on this country road.

And, uh, the first thing that happened. The Apple store called you see, uh, my wife had to bring her laptop in because, you know, the screen went bad.

She had like, uh, the, the screen of death. It was kind of a pink screen. And, um, she brought it in and they're like, oh, this is an easy fix.

And then she's like, well, I haven't backed up my stuff for a while. So you sure about that. I'm not going to lose my data. And they're like, oh, God, no.

You're not going to lose any data. Sign this. And she's like, what am I signing? Oh, it just says we're not responsible if, uh, if you lose all your data. She's like, but she's like, oh, we've seen this screen a million times.

You're not going to lose your data. But you got to sign the, the paperwork. If you want us to, to fix your screen. She's like, all right. You know, we haven't heard from them in a while. So after packing, packing the car.

Uh, in the really bad wind and, and sideways, sideways rain and the guinea pig in the back of the car and my sick daughter with the strap throat.

We take off and it's Apple. And, uh, they asked for my wife. And of course she's sitting right next to me.

And, uh, they go, can we talk about your computer for a minute long story short, she lost all her data. She might not have had the last year or two backed up on the iCloud, the mysterious iCloud. I don't even know how to use the stupid iCloud.

And I'm like, what the, they said the, what the, but now what the, and then like it's going to be another three or five days because now we got to get a logic board or something like that. You stupid nerds out there know what I'm talking about.

And then she's like, but, but I would have just bought a new fucking computer at that point.

So she lost everything and then they're like, well, we're still going to fix the computer, but you know, we got to order another part and it's going to be another, you know, the cost is going to go up.

And she's like, the only reason I want you guys to fix my stupid laptop was to save my data, my notes, my pictures, my videos.
