I'm afraid I'm not as tough as you, John. I would have taken a bog nap.

It would have been bad. I said, this is it.

It'd be easy to do. It's like a nice, relaxing mud bath. People pay a lot of money for those things.

And we have one of the owners, Dave, with us to tell us a little bit about John G.

First of all, John G. is sounds like a made up word. Where did that come from, Dave?

Yeah, so John G. means promise in Malay. It doesn't mean Jumanji, right? It doesn't mean Ganja.

We've heard that. It means promise in Malay. And that's because it's our promise to make the world a better place through running.

So with John G, you know, we started this company seeing that there were other brands out there.

And they stood for trying to win races. And even though my co-founder and I started this company in college,

we're both seniors on the cross country and track team at Washington University. We won this by winning a business plan competition.

Argo was not to create a brand that really stood for elite, elite running. What it stood for was how do we make the world a better place through creating gear that was inspired by different companies?

Around the world. And so every single season, what we do is we go to different countries. So our current line is inspired by South Africa.

We work with local artists and we work with local NGOs. And then 2% of our sale goes back specifically to funding clean water projects in that country.

Well, having great gear that is designed to take you on adventures.

Dave, what kind of gear are we talking about? Are we talking about hydration packs, shoes? I'm ready to learn.

Our products are all apparel. So we've got apparel, we've got accessories. So what we're talking about is running shorts, running tops, running jackets,

running tights, hats, soon to be gloves, soon to be socks. And these are products that, you know, we started John G with this idea of making the world a better place.

We also wanted to make the world's best products for adventure. So our shorts have won runners' world's editors' choice best shorts of the year.

Outside of magazine have named them favorite running shorts. They were just featured in the Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago as best running shorts.

Our jackets have won a lot of awards for their quality. We're sold online and then also in REIs around the country as well because it's not just the mission that really stands out.

But it's really just the quality of the apparel itself that helps runners achieve their dreams.
