You don't see the empty pizza plates that we just mugged after that game.

But Illinois defeats Wyoming 38 to 6.

And Joey, we're going to take interaction from people if they want to put in some questions.

We'll give our thoughts on what was a feel-good day.

I mean, Illinois took care of business against an opponent that I think with all their transfer losses,

Illinois needed to dominate.

There were some, you know, some mistakes Illinois made in the first half, cost themselves some points with special teams errors on the field goal, as well as some penalties.

But all in all, that's the kind of game you want to see from Illinois where it's never in doubt.

You dominate with your own run game, your defense looks like it carried over from last year.

And your passing attack did enough today to beat a team and FBS team by 32 points.

Yeah, too often we've seen at Memorial Stadium those games are closer than this.

Like that's what Illinois had to do. Did we learn a lot? Probably not, but that's exactly what we thought Illinois had to do. We knew there were positions that they were going to be able to dominate. We thought the trenches were going to be a spot. We thought they had more talent on the perimeter. We thought they had talent on the secondary and defense, and all those things showed up. Now, you've got to carry that over into Friday, but this is exactly

what you thought it was going to be with stuff that you probably missed for the last five, six years.

Yeah, and let's start with some of the positives and things we kind of already knew.

Chase Brown is pretty dang good of football. Chase Brown, 165 yards, three touchdowns, two plays

into the game and shout out Peyton Vining. I don't know if we had him as the starting kick returner, but I guess he told Brett Bielma, he's the only guy that's taking one back for a touchdown in his college career when he was at Stetson? Denison, right? Denison, that's it. Yeah. Credit to him. He almost did it on the first kickoff in the game. That was not on the bingo card for kick returners. I do not. They snuck that one by us. Yeah, so Peyton Vine ain't great, 43-yard kick return. Nice start for Sean Snyder. But then two plays in, you see a Trace Brown, 38-yard run, 14-yard wheel route for chase brown on a touchdown all of a sudden

Illinois was up 7-0 and it felt like the lead I already had written it after one drive oh it only

took 41 seconds for barry loney in this this offense to kind of hit its stride up there was bumpy
