Summary

Hill View Manor is located in New Castle, Pennsylvania. This started as The Lawrence Home for the Aged, a poor farm to take the place of a previous poor farm in the town. It was open until 2004 and saw hundreds of people come through the doors. This location hosts an annual paranormal convention called Hill-Con, an annual Psychic Fair and a haunted house attraction called Scare Manor at Halloween. So clearly, this location has some unexplained things going on and they embrace that fact. Join us as we share the history and hauntings of Hill View Manor! The Moment in Oddity features an underwater world record and This Month in History features Dorothea Dix. Our location was suggested by Steffanie Kolodziei.

2:07.4	Apparently, while we were visiting Key Largo, there was an unusual world record attempting to be broken.
2:13.4	Joseph Ditturi had been living 30 feet below the surface of the Florida Keys since March 1st, and he planned to stay there for 100 days.
2:22.4	Joe is a South Florida university professor who is a former US Navy diver and expert in biomedical engineering.
2:29.4	If he's able to accomplish this goal, he will break the current record for most time spent in a habitat beneath the surface of the ocean.
2:36.4	On March 15th, Mr. Ditturi spoke with USA Today during a Zoom call.
2:41.4	Although he is set to break the world record if he stays submerged for 100 days, the professor stated that his purpose
2:47.4	is to study how the human body responds to long-term exposure to extreme pressure.
