0:33.6	And we're going to go ahead and dive into some really interesting concepts around exchanging cryptocurrency and building, you know, these global platforms.
0:44.9	And, you know, you have a law background. So we're going to talk about crypto regulation.
0:49.0	So let's kind of, you know, get acquainted here with the audience.
0:52.3	Tell us a little bit about yourself, your background and how you came to be, you know, the CEO here with the audience. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your background,
0:54.6	and how you came to be, you know, the CEO of a global crypto exchange.
0:58.6	Sure. Well, as well, everything in crypto, it's a bit of a cool tale and unexpected twists and turns.
1:05.4	So I was for many years a financial regulatory lawyer practicing mostly in the UK, which, as you might
1:12.8	be able to hear us from, but also did some work in the US and in the Middle East as well.
1:18.0	I had two main focuses, which were traditional markets, so in New York Stock Exchange,
1:22.9	and on the Stock Exchange, and some of the coolest stuff they were doing out in the Middle East,
1:26.8	and FinTech.
1:28.2	And the last five years or so, FinTech became a huge part of my platform.
1:32.6	And if you marry up FinTech with exchanges and kind of put them together, you get to a crypto
1:38.6	exchange.
1:39.1	So I joined Bichick's Global last year as general counsel, so was running the legal function here.
