Summary

In this heartfelt episode, Christine coaches Marie, who is navigating transitions in both her career and personal life. As Marie opens up about feelings of inadequacy and fear stemming from her childhood, Christine helps her uncover the deeper roots of her lack of confidence and offers powerful tools for healing. Together, they explore how childhood wounds manifest in adult relationships and career dynamics, and how embracing vulnerability can lead to greater self-worth and confidence.

If you’ve ever felt held back by old patterns or struggled with confidence in relationships or at work, this episode will provide clarity, hope, and actionable insights for your journey.

Consider/Ask Yourself:

  • Do you struggle with speaking up for yourself or setting boundaries at work or in relationships?
  • Are there moments from your childhood that might still be influencing your confidence today?
  • Do you find that a lack of confidence in one area of your life impacts other areas?
  • Are you ready to uncover and heal old wounds to step into your full potential?

Key Insights and A-HA’s:

  • Childhood wounds, like parental separation or taking on a caregiver role too early, can create patterns of self-silencing and people-pleasing.
  • A lack of confidence often stems from not being allowed to express emotions or needs as a child.
  • Healing involves doing for yourself now what you couldn’t do as a child, such as using your voice and setting boundaries.
  • Confidence grows through radical self-acceptance and addressing unmet needs with compassion and clarity.

How to Get Over It & On With It:

  • Reflect on how past wounds are showing up in your current relationships and career.
  • Allow yourself to express repressed emotions, like anger, in healthy, somatic ways.
  • Practice asserting your needs and opinions in situations where you typically remain silent.
  • Use moments of discomfort as opportunities to break free from old patterns and embrace growth.
