I have encountered families during this season who shun their children, who have chosen a different lifestyle or who are on a different walk.

The thinking being that that kind of tough love is going to turn it around.

I don't condemn that because we don't know all the ends and outs of other

people's stories, but I do know based on how the Lord has wired me that graciously he said,

you want to love, so love her and trust me. And so we're able then to still be a family, even though the details of our

conflict have not been resolved.
