the race-focused left for once again snubbing performers of color in the Oscar nominations.

But in the Academy's defense, there will at least be more black candidates in the running

at the Oscars than there will be at tonight's all-white Democratic presidential debate in

Des Moines, Iowa. We will examine the incoherence and hypocrisy of racial identity politics.

We've got some breaking news. Another one bites the dust. Cory Booker has dropped out

of the presidential race. Now, Eric Swalwell, who is me, dropped out of the presidential

race six months ago. But Spartacus, who I am, dropped out yesterday, which means that

by the rule of double negation, I think that I am still in it. However, Cory Booker is

no longer in it. And so we bid him farewell in memoriam.

I knowingly violated the rules that were put forth, and I understand that the penalty

comes with potential ousting from the Senate. I hope that they will bring charges against

us. This is about the closest I'll probably ever have in my life to an I am Spartacus moment.
